vcenter appliance will be upgraded to version 8. A new appliance is deployed to the environment, then data is copied over from the current appliance. once data is copied over, the current appliance is shut down, and the new appliance takes over the IP and DNS names.

vCenter 8 has been deployed to the environment. When you next see the login screen, if it shows an "RSA ID" checkbox, do a full-cache refresh with Shift + F5, or Shift + Refresh.
