The DPSS Cisco Proxy/ VPN firewalls at the Campus Safety & Security Building are EOL and due to be replaced.
ITS Engineering and Network Security Operations will be migrating the existing firewalls to a high-availability redundant pair of Palo Alto Next Generation firewalls.
The new NGFW firewalls have been installed in parallel with the existing firewalls and on the day of the cutover, NSO will systematically move the connections from the old firewalls over to the new firewalls.
A significant portion of the maintenance window will be devoted to testing the new environment with the DPSS staff.
